Here’s What You Get:
We the People empowered the legislature to establish post offices via Article I Section 8 where it says, “The Congress shall have power to establish post offices”. We did not give them the power to abolish the United States Post Office Department, incorporate and sell under the name United States Postal Service but they did – thankfully they must STILL obey the law as enacted by Congress itself!
The last lawful legislation that still stands is the 1863 Act of the Thirty-Seventh Congress whereas the postal rate on all letters are 3₵ per ½ Ounce. 18 U.S.C. § 1726 declares it fraud to demand any rate of postage other than is provided by law, punishable by fine or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Inside we’ll break down this history and all the postal laws that still apply to this day!4
In fact, via Taxe Percue laws taught inside – students will have the ability to send mail for FREE! And to show proof this works, we took 1 Registered Mail package and 2 Certified Mail packages and handed them to the local postal clerk. The only “postage” was a thumb print and autograph as seen (and taught) in inside the program. On the receipt, look at how they logged these purchases into the system.
The total USPS charges were $33.13, but then we showed the employee the USPS International Mail Manual website that said if marked “Postage Paid” that he must pass it through without delay. Which is why he wrote on the receipt “Less Customer’s Postage = $0 Due“. Then gave the receipt showing the total paid was $0.
